HypnoBirthing Program

Payments

Unless otherwise agreed with you, you must pay for the HypnoBirthing Program at the time of placing an order. Once you have signed and submitted the HypnoBirthing Program Enrolment and Agreement Form, I will send you the Payment Agreement Form, which will outline your fees and once signed and submitted, will automatically generate your invoice.

Invoices are sent through my secure form management software (Jotform) and all payments are being processed by e-transfer. We may use third-party payment providers (“Payment Providers”) from time to time to collect payments. The processing of payments by the Payment Provider will be, subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the Payment Provider and we are not liable for the security or performance of the Payment Provider. We reserve the right to correct, or to instruct our Payment Provider to correct, any errors or mistakes in collecting your payment.

Refunds

Due to the nature of the HypnoBirthing Program, Embodied Birth does not offer refunds, except in the situation of a miscarriage in the first trimester (up to the 12-weeks mark in pregnancy). No refund will be offered after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

While we strive to deliver accurate, honest, and ethical education and service, we cannot guarantee specific results. Thus, we are unable to offer refunds if the outcomes do not meet your expectations. 

Missed Classes 

Private Series - Due to the format of the private series, classes that are missed can generally be rescheduled with adequate notice (up to 24 hours). If no notice is given and you do not show up for our scheduled class time, I reserve the right to charge a fee of $50 to cover the preparation time that is needed for each class.  

Group Series - Please come to each class. Due to the nature of group classes and maintaining the schedule and flow of the curriculum within a group, missed classes cannot generally be made up; however, if timing allows, a personal 1-to-1 session can be arranged outside of class for a cost of $150.

1:1 Session Appointments 

Scheduling

All one-on-one appointments are 1-hour duration and include both consultation and treatment. All appointments must be scheduled at least 24-hours in advance. Appointments needed within a shorter time frame, may not be able to be accommodated.

Late and Missed Appointments

Please try to arrive for your appointment on time. Each appointment is to last 1-hour duration. In the event that you are late to your scheduled appointment, the duration of your appointment will remain the same as the original scheduled time.

I will wait for the duration of 10 minutes before classifying a ‘no-show’. If you know that you are going to be more than 10-minutes late, I will require you to reschedule. Unless it is due to an emergency, I reserve the right to charge a fee of $50 for all missed appointments. 

Cancellations

While I do my best to accommodate unforeseen changes in your schedule that might impact a booking, I please ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice before canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Unless it is due to an emergency, I reserve the right to charge a fee of $50 for all canceled appointments within 24 hours if adequate notice is not given. 

Payments

All one-to-one appointments are to be paid by e-transfer. Please send e-transfers prior to the end of your appointment to molly@embodiedbirth.ca.

Fees are charged for delivering the service not for the end results, which can and do vary between clients. Some clients require more sessions than others to reach a similar end point. Please ensure you read over my full scope of practice on my terms of service. 

Refunds 

My fees reflect the unique and holistic service delivered, not the end result. While my services are designed to help promote your wellbeing and facilitate your own healing abilities, healing is a progressive and personal journey and each person’s circumstances and experiences with it are unique. While some clients experience immediate tangible positive impacts, individual experiences may vary. Factors such as personal beliefs, sensitivity to energy, openness to unfamiliar concepts, and the capacity to embrace relaxation can all influence one’s experience and receptivity. In some instances, clients may notice improvements in resilience and tolerance rather than an immediate relief of a physical condition. I cannot guarantee specific results and as such am unable to offer refunds if the outcomes do not meet your expectations. Once a service has been provided, we have a no-refund policy. Thank you for your understanding. 

Insurance Coverage & Third Party Funding

HypnoBirthing and energy healing are independent, complementary healing modalities, thus are generally not covered under private health plans. However, if you are registering for the HypnoBirthing Program, some health plans might cover childbirth education, so I encourage you to seek clarification from your provider.

I am also a registered partner with BeHerVillage International Registry. This is an online registry service that allows parents to add prenatal and postnatal supports to their gift registries, so that friends and family can gift things families actually need. Registering for Someone Else

If you are purchasing a service as a gift, you must first receive their written consent. 

By registering for 1-to-1 session or HypnoBirthing Program for yourself or on behalf of someone else, you and the person receiving the service agree to accept the terms and conditions set out in this policy and all other policies (i.e. Terms of Service and Privacy Policy). If you are registering another individual, you must inform them of all terms and conditions set out in this policy and all other policy documents, named herein.
