postpartum resource directory
Created by:Molly Pratt, MPH, HBCE
HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator & Mind-Body Support Practitioner, Embodied Birth
Postpartum, like pregnancy, can be a beautiful but challenging time, and it’s not always clear where to turn for support. This guide provides tangible, local resources—including videos, educational guides, and contacts I often recommend—to help clients navigate this sensitive period. Feel free to share with anyone who may benefit.
This list is updated periodically. If you know of a helpful resource to include, I’d love to hear from you: molly@embodiedbirth.ca
last updated: June 17, 2026
Disclaimer: This is a curated list of resources I find useful in my practice. It is not a comprehensive directory and is intended to supplement other Yukon perinatal directories. Inclusion is for informational purposes only and does not constitute endorsement. Please use your own judgment and consult qualified healthcare or lactation professionals as needed. If you know of a helpful local resource that should be included, I’d love to hear from you! (molly@embodiedbirth.ca)
Important note: Online resources are helpful, but they are not a substitute for medical care. Call your care provider, midwife, maternity clinic, or the Whitehorse General Hospital Maternity Unit (867-393-8777 or 867-393-8725) if you have urgent concerns such as decreased fetal movement, bleeding, severe headache, vision changes, sudden swelling, fever, severe abdominal pain, waters releasing, regular contractions before 37 weeks, or anything that feels concerning to you. In an emergency, call 911.
