first off, let’s take a breath

I get it - this time can feel like a lot.

There are so many decisions to make, so many unknowns, and at the same time you’re holding these bigger questions in the background…

what kind of parent am I going to be, will I have enough support, how is this going to change things between me and my partner, and how is this baby actually going to come out of me?

Add in all the fear, negative imagery, misinformation around birth and women’s bodies, and all the medical language and it makes sense if part of you feels overwhelmed - even if another part of you is excited.

What I experienced in my own pregnancy, and what I see with the families I support, is that something begins to shift when you start to understand what is actually going on in your body, how to work with it, and how to come back to yourself in the middle of all of it.

When that understanding is paired with real tools, support, and space to actually process the changes that are happening, the overwhelm starts to soften and becomes something you can move through, rather than something you feel at the mercy of. But deeper than that, a trust is seeded, and confidence is built. So you can look ahead to all that is to come with so much more of yourself and a genuine sense of wonder in all you are capable of.

why this preparation helps

  • understand your body

The Mongan Method HypnoBirthing program is considered the gold standard in childbirth education using hypnosis. I often describe it as part childbirth education, part nervous system regulation, and part personal development. At its core, it’s about helping you make sense of birth in a way that feels grounded and usable - not just something you intellectually understand, but something you can actually work with when you’re in it.

  • calm your nervous system

You’ll learn how fear, tension, hormones, and the nervous system all interact in birth, and you’ll practice tools that help your body return to calm when things feel intense. This is a big part of the work: not forcing yourself to be calm, but practicing calm enough that your body begins to recognize the way back.

  • feel confident in your choices

It’s not about needing birth to look a certain way. I’ve seen these tools support people through natural birth, epidurals, inductions, cesareans, and everything in between. What it really offers is a sense of agency - the ability to understand what’s happening, know the evidence behind common interventions, ask better questions, make decisions that feel grounded and right for you, and feel like an active participant in your experience rather than a passenger.

what does it actually feel like?

You log in from home - comfy clothes, pillows around you, maybe a tea in hand, and your partner or birth companion by your side.

We start slowly, with a little grounding and a chance to let your body come out of the pace of the day. Things begin to soften a little, your shoulders drop, and your breathing slows. Your body gets a chance to exhale.

From there, we move between learning and practice.

We talk about the birth in the context of history to today, we delve into the fascinating ins and outs of the birthing body, and we practice tools you can actually use: breathing that feels doable, hands-on support and advocacy your partner can offer, movement and positions that make sense, and guided deep relaxation that helps your body actually learn what calm feels like. Suddenly, you start to be able to envision birth in a new way.

Over the weeks, you may notice that tension starts to soften a little faster, the mind-swirl slows down enough that you can meet it with the tools you’re learning, you’re able to think a bit clearer, and you can rest knowing your partner understands what you need and how to show up for you.

This time is for you - a space to slow down, connect, and prepare in a way that feels less overwhelming and more held.

What’s included

  • 5 live weekly classes

Each class is 2.5 hours on Zoom, with teaching, discussion, practice, and time for questions.

  • guided relaxation + hypnosis practice

You’ll be guided through relaxation, deepening, fear release, and birth rehearsal practices so these tools become more familiar before labour begins.

  • partner / birth companion support

Your partner or support person will learn practical ways to support you during labour, including touch, prompts, positioning, and emotional support.

  • full course materials

You’ll receive the HypnoBirthing® book, parent handbook, audio tracks, self-hypnosis scripts, and practical evidence-based handouts to support your preparation at home.

  • evidence-based decision support

We’ll talk through common interventions and birth choices so you have language, context, and questions to bring into appointments.

  • 1:1 session near term

You’ll receive a private 30-minute session closer to your due date to talk through lingering questions, fears, or birth preferences, or to receive guided hypnosis.

  • support between classes

You’re welcome to ask questions by email or WhatsApp between sessions as things come up. You’re not expected to figure it all out alone.

  • (optional) in-person practice session

When timing, weather, and location allow, I may offer an optional in-person gathering (1-2hrs). This might include a short nature walk, guided meditation, breath practice, time for questions, and space to connect with other families while receiving hands-on support with techniques.

it’s not about controlling birth.

There will always be unknowns. But you can go into birth knowing you have tools, options, support, and a deeper connection to yourself and your baby through it all.

That is the real gift of this program.

My role

i’m here as your educator and guide.

I don’t replace your medical provider, make decisions for you, or tell you what kind of birth to have. My role is to support your autonomy, help you clarify what matters to you, and create a space where you feel informed, supported, and respected.

You’ll review the full scope of practice and terms before enrolling, but the heart of it is this: your body, your baby, your choice.

upcoming group details

I’m currently gathering interest for a small May group:

If group timing doesn’t align, I also offer private series with more flexible scheduling. You’re always welcome to reach out and explore what might work best.

what happens next?

If this feels like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, the next step is simple:

  1. Fill out the enrolment form to let me know you’d like to join.

  2. I’ll follow up with next steps and registration details.

  3. Once your spot is confirmed, I’ll send everything you need and we’ll get started.

And truly, if you’re not sure yet, you’re always welcome to reach out. I’m happy to talk things through and help you decide if this feels like the right fit.
